ORT Atlanta's Honey From The Heart Fundraiser is now in its 21st year. Nearly 200 Jewish organizations from across the United States have benefitted financially from being involved, and in 2010 close to 20,000 jars of honey were distributed around the world.
Honey From The Heart is operated by members of the Atlanta, Georgia region of ORT America, an organization that promotes the understanding and appreciation of Jewish values through a global network of schools and training programs in 63 countries. The cutting-edge educational skills acquired at ORT schools, colleges, and international programs provide marketable skills that enable 300,000 students and beneficiaries annually to attain successful careers, become community leaders and live independently
Your support of Honey From The Heart, either by purchasing honey or being a distributor, supports participating organizations and ORT America at the same time.
Each honey order is accompanied by a personal message from the purchaser and is delivered in time for Erev Rosh Hashanah (September 28, 2011). Ordering honey for your family, friends and business associates is a sweet way to welcome the new year while also supporting worthwhile organizations.
